Budget Analyst - Mid

To assist in effective budget planning and spending for CLIENT.
To support a PROGRAM AREA/TEAM TYPE in DUTY LOCATION with the mission of delivering practical and efficient solutions to help CLIENT Mission.
This position provides budget management and analytical support for programs in PROGRAM SUB-AREA.
Review budget proposals and funding requests Conduct cost/benefit and other types of analyses Submit budget recommendations for approval or rejection of funding requests Explain and defend recommendations to management and stakelholders Collaborate with managers to develop final consolidated budget Ensure the organization's budget adheres to legal regulations Oversee expenditure and identify trends in spending Make forecasts for future budget needs Suggest improvements to increase profits (e.
g.
spending cuts) Prepare periodical and special reports 3-10 years of experience with a four-year or advanced degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a budget analyst Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Understanding of budgeting and regulatory requirements Bachelor's Degree Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSPI225421168 Recommended Skills Analytical Data Analysis Finance Forecasting Regulatory Requirements Substance Abuse Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
