Full-Time Warehouse Associate
This position is responsible for separating merchandise by store and transporting merchandise to shipping or warehouse which may include loading and unloading of merchandise. Responsibilities 1. Must be at work on a regular and predictable basis or as scheduled. 2. Load, unload and stack merchandise onto or from pallets, floor, or racks by hand. 3. Separate merchandise for shipment to specific stores, warehouse location or according to Buyer's instructions. 4. Maintain integrity of products through proper handling. 5. Affix appropriate labels to pallet or carton. 6. Apply shrink-wrap to pallets of merchandise. 7. Transport merchandise to conveyer, tow line, trailer or directly to shipping as required. 8. Use a scanner to process merchandise for accurate inventory and location tracking. 9. Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Education and Qualifications 1. Able to sufficiently understand the English language to communicate clearly with individuals at all levels in the Company and to read and comprehend freight instructions. 2. Basic mathematical skills. 3. Able to lift weights of up to 75 pounds on a continual basis. 4. Able to walk or stand for shifts four to eight hours, with appropriate breaks. 5. Able to safely operate electric pallet jack. 6. Ability to scan and enter data into scanner. 7. Ability to perform all essential job functions at 80% efficiency within 30 calendar days.
