Human Resources Manager

What you'll do:

  • Build partnerships with leadership to understand business needs and drive HR initiatives in support of long-range goals
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and local laws in all team member interactions escalating issues appropriately for support
  • Work with site leader to create an open-door culture where team member opinions, partnerships and development are valued
  • Ensure processes and tools in place to support effective selection and efficient onboarding of leaders and new team members
  • Drive development of leaders through succession planning and by leveraging development plans and other tools to customize growth to individual needs
  • Develop the HR team by providing actionable feedback and challenging their development with projects and increased responsibility over time
  • Challenge the status quo to develop processes and tools that can support the broader network in partnership with regional leadership
  • Lead performance management program and assist with training as needed.
  • Support worker s comp claims and ensure investigations are conducted appropriately
  • Lead other projects and initiatives as assigned

What you ll need:

  • BA/BS required (Business Administration, Human Resources or related study preferred. Experience in a similar warehouse environment or a combination of education-training and experience will be considered.
  • 10+ years in an HR Leadership role ideally within a fulfillment or distribution center or busy work environment with proven track record of success.
  • 5 years experience managing a HR Team.
  • Proven record of strategic partnerships which enhance the HR experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, public presentation /communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Able to work effectively with a wide range of people
  • Strong employee relations background.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
